The BIPV Conference & Exhibition 2019 with the theme “Solar Architecture towards Sustainable Cities”, was held at the Kent Ridge Guild House on the campus of the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 25 to 26 July 2019. It was organised by the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) at NUS, with Dr. Veronika Shabunko, Head of the BIPV Centre of Excellence at SERIS, as the Conference Chairperson. The conference programme covered a wide scope of latest BIPV technologies, façade and system integration solutions, and best practices of BIPV projects from around the world. The BIPV Conference & Exhibition 2019 featured 16 invited talks and a panel discussion by speakers from Singapore, China, Switzerland, Japan and Cuba. On 26 July 2019, SERIS conducted the very first “BIPV Singapore community” workshop and offered guided tours to indoor and outdoor laboratories at the NUS campus for all delegates.
